Duties & Responsibilities
This office carries out all day to day operations for the Town such as:
  • Handling special licenses and permits
  • Attesting signatures
  • Filing for grants
  • Attending and preparing minutes of Council proceedings
  • Maintaining permanent files for minutes, ordinances and resolutions
  • Administering human resources, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll
  • Handling utility billing
  • Assisting with Municipal Court
Town Attorney
The Town Attorney is appointed by the Mayor and Council. The Town Attorney advises Council and Mayor and assists town departments on a variety of legal issues, reviews materials and attends meetings when necessary.
