Duties & Responsibilities
This office carries out all day to day operations for the Town such as:
- Handling special licenses and permits
- Attesting signatures
- Filing for grants
- Attending and preparing minutes of Council proceedings
- Maintaining permanent files for minutes, ordinances and resolutions
- Administering human resources, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll
- Handling utility billing
- Assisting with Municipal Court
Town Attorney
The Town Attorney is appointed by the Mayor and Council. The Town Attorney advises Council and Mayor and assists town departments on a variety of legal issues, reviews materials and attends meetings when necessary.
